(VOVWORLD) -After three months of operation, the two-tier local government model has made positive changes and apparatus has been largely consolidated with smooth operations, uninterrupted service delivery, and improved public service, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said on Wednesday.

Chairing a government meeting in Hanoi to review the model implementation and address challenges, the Prime Minister asked delegates to focus on determining job positions at the commune level, facilities, information technology infrastructure, online public service system, and data connection, among others.
Regarding procedures for land, construction, civil status, and insurance, the Prime Minister asked delegates to discuss solutions to simplify the process, avoid the situation that causes significant inconvenience for citizens, and put people's satisfaction first.
