(VOVworld) – Three IS jihadists, two of them British nationals, were killed in a drone strike by the British Royal Air Force, British Prime Minister David Cameron said on Monday.This was the first time the UK has conducted an air strike on IS militants in Syria.

One of the three jihadists was Reyaad Khan, 21, who joined IS in 2013 and allegedly directed a number of planned attacks in the UK.
That day, French President Francois Hollande also told a press conference in Paris that France could join air strikes against IS militants in Syria. The New York Times ran an article saying that the US was preparing a major reform on training programs for “moderate” gunmen fighting IS in Syria.
