(VOVworld) – The Ukraine Contact Group concluded talks on resolving the crisis in eastern Ukraine in Minsk, Belarus.

A statement released on Tuesday by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry said that consultations between the contact group and representatives of Donetsk and Lugansk had also ended. Vladislav Deinego, representative of the self-proclaimed People’s Republic of Lugansk, said that another online video meeting would be held next Friday. OSCE special envoy Martin Sajdik said that the contact political subgroup would hold a meeting next Tuesday and Wednesday.
