Chef Kovryzhenko Yurii is known as a prominent author of the Michelin guide. He has won such prestigious titles as the Global Chef Awards 2017 and Ambassador of Taste for Global Gastronomy two years in a row.

In Hanoi, Yurii chose outstanding specialties that always appear on the table of Ukrainians, typically, Borsch soup, a soup that has been acknowledged as ‘World Heritage’ by UNESCO recently. Borsch requires at least 15 ingredients and 24 hours to cook.

This was part of a series of events by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in Asia to promote national cuisine. The Hanoi event was organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in Vietnam and the Sun Group’s Sun Hospitality Group brand name.
