UN praises Vietnam’s engineers in South Sudan
(VOVWORLD) - UN Deputy Secretary General Atul Khare on Monday hailed Vietnamese engineers and Vietnam in general for their efforts and contributions to the UN’s peacekeeping mission.

During a visit to the Vietnamese Engineering Unit in Highway base, South Sudan, Mr. Khare said he is looking for a meeting with Vietnamese Defense Minister Phan Van Giang to discuss issues of mutual concern, particularly UN peacekeeping activities.
He expressed his hope that Vietnam will continue to stand with the UN in other international missions.
