UN staff officer training course opens in Hanoi
(VOVWORLD) -A United Nations staff officer training course opened at the Hanoi-based Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations on Monday within the framework of Canada’s Military Training and Cooperation Program.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Binh, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, and Canadian Ambassador to Vietnam Shawn Steil co‑chaired the opening ceremony.
64 lecturers, coordinators, and participants will join the course, where Vietnamese and international students will practice document drafting and combat planning skills, analyze and evaluate situations, and develop combat plans.
