(VOVWORLD) - US President Donald Trump’s decision to extend tariff negotiations could prolong global instability and unpredictability, said Pamela Coke-Hamilton, Executive Director of the International Trade Centre (ITC), during a press conference in Geneva on Tuesday.

Coke-Hamilton cited Lesotho as an example, where major textile exporters have suspended investments while awaiting tariff outcomes.
She said this uncertainty, combined with sharp cuts in development aid, has created a “double shock” to developing countries.
