(VOVWORLD) - The US government on Tuesday added dozens of foreign entities to its trade restriction list.

According to a statement from the US Department of Commerce, this move targets 80 entities from multiple countries, including Iran and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Commerce Department said these entities are accused of engaging in activities that harm US national security and contradict its foreign policy. These entities will be unable to access US technology and goods without government authorization.
