Pakistani officials have started a two-day meeting to discuss defense issues and strategic security issues with the US, including decisions reached at previous talks of the Pak-US Defence Consultative Group (DCG). The DCG is a forum for discussing shared defense policies, anti-terrorism, Pakistan’s defense requirements, and the prospect of peace and regional security after NATO withdraws its troops from Afghanistan in 2014.
