(VOVworld) – A Vietnamese delegation led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Duc Hai, Director of the National Defense Strategy Institute, is attending the fourth Fullerton Forum, which is taking place From Sunday to Tuesday in Singapore. Organized by the International Institute for Strategic Studies, the Forum is a meeting of regional defense officials in preparation for the annual Shangri-La dialogue which is scheduled for this June.
At this year’s Forum, delegates will discuss the stabilization of major power relations in the Asia-Pacific, emerging security threats such as cyber security and terrorism, and the prospects for conflict management in the Asia-Pacific region.
The Vietnamese delegation will present a report at the forum and hold bilateral talks with several countries on issues common to the region, including the East Sea issue.
