Being a responsible and constructive member, Vietnam will exert its efforts to obtain a consensus on the multilateral trade mechanism.
He mentioned differences among member countries over some contents of the Bali package, especially with regards to agriculture, the promotion of agricultural commercialization, food security, and poverty reduction. Mr. Tu appealed to all members to make more compromises and said that only goodwill and consensus can break the impasses in the Doha negotiations.
