Vietnam, Belarus urged to establish industrial production joint ventures
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has urged Vietnam and Belarus to further cooperation in automobile production adding that the Vietnamese government strongly supports the proposal on setting up joint ventures in this field.

At a meeting Hanoi on Wednesday with Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Lyashenko, the Prime Minister said the presence of the Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister at the September 26 inauguration ceremony of the automobile production and assembly joint venture MAZ ASIA reflects the Belarusian government’s interest in bilateral cooperation with Vietnam. Deputy Prime Minister Igor Lyashenko said the relationship between Vietnam and Belarus should be shifted from trade to industrial production joint ventures. He suggested establish a joint venture on tyre production in Belarus using rubber materials of Vietnam to reach out to Eurasian markets. The Deputy Prime Minister also proposed set up a joint venture of fertilizer production in Vietnam.
