The active participation of the Vietnamese delegation conveyed three important messages.

First, it affirmed the National Assembly’s resolve to stand side by side with the Government of Vietnam in building institutions, drafting action plans and strategies to achieve carbon emission neutrality by 2050 and other climate change and sustainable development goals.

Second, it emphasized how parliamentary diplomacy is important to world peace and security.

Third, the young and female National Assembly deputies of Vietnam actively engaged in the IPU agenda.
