Vietnam, China to boost cooperation in multiple fields
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam always considers strengthening relations with China a strategic choice and a top priority in its foreign policy, Politburo member Nguyen Trong Nghia said at a reception for Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam He Wei in Hanoi on Wednesday.

Mr. Nghia, who heads the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication, Education and Mass Mobilization said that political and diplomatic relations between the two countries have continued to be strengthened, with high-level exchanges and meetings playing a strategic guiding role in fostering a stable, healthy, and effective relationship.
He called for the promotion of people-to-people exchanges, friendly relations between political organisations, interactions between border localities, and tourism cooperation.
The Chinese ambassador said that the friendship between the two Parties and countries has continued to be reinforced through high-level visits, phone talks, and frequent meetings between their leaders.
The two sides agreed to enhance the sharing of experience, theories, and best practices related to Party building, safeguarding the Party’s ideological foundation in cyberspace, and managing and guiding press agencies.
