At an online conference on Wednesday on Vietnam-India investment and trade in the new normal, Mr. Hung said helping export-import businesses is Vietnam’s priority this year and Vietnam plans to ease trade barriers to minimize adverse impacts on trade and business activities in all sectors. He urged India not to impose trade protections on Vietnamese steel products, and to consider removing the existing trade restrictions on Vietnam’s peppers and cashew nuts.
