(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has wished Kamal Malhotra, the new UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative to Vietnam, a successful term.

Welcoming Malhotra to Vietnam on Monday, PM Phuc said Vietnam has always attached special importance to relations with the UN and will remain an active and responsible member of the UN and the international community. He urged Malhotra to help enhance Vietnam’s relations with the UN and proposed policy consultancy for Vietnam’s socio-economic development to avoid the middle income trap.
