(VOVword)-Deputy Defence Minister Nguyen Chi Vinh asked New Zealand to share its experience in peacekeeping missions and strategic research at a meeting with New Zealand’s Ambassador to Vietnam Wendy Matthews in Hanoi on Wednesday.

Mr. Vinh hailed the growing defence ties between New Zealand and Vietnam and called for more exchanges of high-level visits. Ambassador Wendy Matthews said New Zealand is cooperating in some defence projects with Vietnam, especially in improving the capacity of Vietnamese peacekeepers.
