Vietnam participates in Antalya Diplomatic Forum in Turkey

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Minh Hang attended the Antalya Diplomatic Forum (ADF) 2024 in Antalya city, Turkey over the past two days.

Themed "Promoting diplomacy in times of crisis", ADF Forum 2024 gathered 4,000 delegates, including 19 senior leaders and about 100 ministers, deputy ministers, and a large number of representatives of international organizations, policymakers, experts, scholars and businesses.

Being one of the main speakers at the discussion “Building Asia-Pacific Regional Architectures: The Challenge of Unmatching Interests”, Ms. Hang emphasized that more than ever, the Asia-Pacific region needs to maintain an open, transparent, resilient, inclusive, and rules-based regional architecture, in which the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) plays a central role.

She affirmed that Vietnam will continue to pursue its foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, for peace, cooperation, and development, diversification, multilateralization, being a friend and reliable partner of the international community, and together with ASEAN members to contribute to regional peace, stability, and prosperity.

During her business trip, Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hang worked with a number of Turkish officials and met with the Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan and Deputy Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, and Oman.
