(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang met with delegates to the national conference to honor outstanding women who excel in doing business and Vietnam Women’s Innovation Day 2013 in Hanoi on Tuesday. He said that poverty reduction movements need to be promoted to help bring Vietnam out of the less-developed status. He added that these individuals are role models, which should be replicated nationwide. President Sang asked the Vietnam Women’s Union to work closely with relevant agencies, bank for social beneficiaries and businesses in improving the living standards and production of women and their families. The delegates expressed their hope that the Party and State will provide them with preferential financial support and legal assistance to help them escape from poverty and become better off.
