Vietnam to export 5,000 cargo UAVs to RoK

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s CT Group has signed a deal to export 5,000 cargo unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to the Republic of Korea.

The agreement, inked with Airbility, a leading Korean UAV technology firm, was formalized in Seoul on Tuesday during the Vietnam-RoK Economic Forum, witnessed by Party General Secretary To Lam and RoK President Lee Jae Myung.

The heavy-lift UAVs, with payload capacities from 60 kg to 300 kg, are produced by CT UAV, a CT Group subsidiary, with up to 85% localization and proprietary Vietnamese technology.

CT UAV’s mastery of in-house semiconductor chip design gives it a clear competitive edge. The company is also developing AI-integrated UAVs capable of self-learning and decision-making.

At the same event, CT Group secured an additional order to export 100 million chips to the RoK.
