At a reception for Boris Rhein, Governor of Hessen state, Germany, on Thursday, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh urged Hessen state to support Vietnam in climate change response, sustainable development, renewable energy, accessing capital sources, human resource training, and implementing the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) between Vietnam, G7 countries, and international partners.

Governor Boris Rhein said Hessen state attaches importance to strengthening relations with Vietnam and his visit this time aims to further promote bilateral cooperation in economy, education and training, and labor.

Hessen state will continue to support the expansion of the Vietnam-Germany University. As Hessen state is in need of skilled workers from Vietnam, Rhein suggested that both sides take advantage of Germany's Labor Migration Law to send Vietnamese workers to Germany.
