Vietnam Women’s Union pledges to reform organization

(VOVworld) - The 3-day 11th National Women’s Congress concluded on Wednesday with the adoption of the Vietnam Women’s Union draft regulations and resolution and elected a presidium of 163 members.

Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa is re-elected Chairwoman of the Union for another 5-year term. Hoa said: “The Executive Committee of the 11th Vietnam Women’s Union vows to unite and dedicate our intellectual and moral abilities to following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples and fulfilling the tasks assigned to us by the Party, State and women nationwide.”

The new leaders of the Vietnam Women’s Union have pledged to reform its organization, improve its ability to serve as a bridge between the Party, the State and the people, accelerate Party-building work, and focus on the effectiveness of emulation campaigns.
