(VOVworld) - President of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association Nghiem Vu Khai has been presented with Japan’s Order of the Rising Sun for his contributions to strengthening mutual understanding and friendship between Vietnam and Japan. At a ceremony in Hanoi on Thursday, Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi Fukada voiced his hope that Khai will continue to bolster the two countries’ bilateral relations. Khai said it was an honor to receive such a noble award, adding that Vietnam – Japan relations are at their brightest stage, and he will continue his efforts to promote bilateral ties.
