Vietnam’s trade in eight months up 16% to 600 billion USD

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s import-export turnover in the first eight months of the year reached nearly 600 billion USD, up 16.3% year-on-year, underscoring the strong recovery of the country’s international trade.

Exports rose 14.8% to 306 billion USD, resulting in a trade surplus of 14 billion USD.

State budget revenue from import-export activities during the period fulfilled 72.6% of the annual target, increasing 8.4% compared to the same period in 2024.
