Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam made the appeal at an online conference with ministries, agencies, and localities to review activities to ensure food safety and hygiene in 2013 and set out tasks for the new year.
He reminded the ministries and related agencies to promote their propaganda activities regarding food safety and hygiene while improving the people’s awareness in abiding by Food Safety regulations. Reports provided by an interdisciplinary central steering committee on Food Safety and Hygiene show that in 2013, regulations guiding the implementation of the Law and the management of food safety were completed while target group awareness of food safety and hygiene has been significantly improved.
