During a working trip to Mongolia from Wednesday to Friday, Mr. Quang had a meeting with MNB’s General Director G. Gerel, where he emphasized the role of the media in reporting on the effectiveness of cooperation mechanisms in key areas such as politics, diplomacy, trade, investment, and tourism.

The Vietnam-Mongolia bilateral relationship is expanding, he said, calling it a great opportunity for VOV and MNB to strengthen their relationship and further their practical cooperation.

The two national broadcasters are exchanging and co-producing radio and television programs, and exchanging high-level delegations and journalists, said Ms. G.Gerel. She expected that VOV will work with MNB in producing a documentary film to celebrate Vietnam-Mongolia diplomatic relations and facilitate 1-2 week exchanges of culture and literature reporters.

Mr. Quang said as a multimedia agency operating via 7 radio channels and 16 TV channels, VOV is willing to support MNB in film production. He also welcomed the proposal on reporter exchange.

The two sides shared their experiences in broadcast digital technology, solutions to media economics, and the mode of operation of a traffic info channel as part of efforts to deal with road congestion.
