"Bai Ca Tren Nui” (Song On The Mountain) by Ba Duy of VOV2 won top award in the People Audio Category. It features a teacher of Vang Lech 2 school, who is willing to endure hardship to achieve the goal "Where there are children, there is a school".

Duy said: “I am happy as one of the authors honored by the ABU Together for People, Planet, Peace Media Award Ceremony this year. Following the messages that the award wants to convey, which is to inspire positive changes and promote sustainable development, integration, and peace, our team told a story about Vietnamese education, detailing the image of teachers in remote areas. When the report was broadcast, some teachers in remote schools told us that they saw themselves in our story. Even though they faced many difficulties every day, they are still happy because they could bring the light of education to the children in the mountain areas and bring opportunities and equality in education to the children there.”
