(VOVWORLD) - Hanoi and other localities across Vietnam will simultaneously hold inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies of major infrastructure projects on Friday, December 19.

Quang Ninh province will begin the construction or inaugurate 31 projects with a total investment of 14.8 billion USD. Of them, 5 projects will on tourism, maritime economy, social security, and national defense and security will be inaugurated while the groundbreaking ceremony will be held for 26 other projects on transportation infrastructure, industry, commerce, services, urban development, social housing, education, and healthcare.

Le Manh Tuyen, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha An Ward, where the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ha Long Xanh Complex Urban Area will take place, said that they consider it key political task in 2025.
“Preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony in celebration of the Party Congresses at all levels have been implemented. Local residents are very excited. As soon as the project is commenced, we will hand over all the cleared site to the investor," said Tuyen.

In Ho Chi Minh City, hundreds of engineers and workers remain on-site day and night for the final touch, ahead of the technical traffic opening of the section passing through the former Thu Duc city on Belt Road 3.
Bui Van Quan, chief supervisor of the bidding package, said that 86% of the planned progress of the Belt Road 3 project passing through the former Thu Duc City with 14.7 km of elevated bridges has been completed.
“Today, we have completed the initial section of the route, ready for the asphalt concrete layer. We have also finished the final concrete blocks for the overpass. In the coming days, we will continue to asphalt the bridge and finalize the railing and traffic safety systems," Quan told VOV.
