Gia Lai serves as the Central Highlands region’s gateway to the sea, southern Laos, and northeastern Cambodia. The province possesses advantages for developing logistics, processing industries, exports, and a marine economy.

At an investment promotion conference held on Saturday within the framework of the National Tourism Year 2026, Chairman of the Gia Lai provincial People’s Committee Pham Anh Tuan pledged favorable business environment.

“Gia Lai province will take concrete actions to realize its strong commitment to the business community. We are committed to building a transparent, disciplined, and decisive administration, shifting from a management mindset to a service-oriented, facilitative, and enabling approach, with investors and businesses at the center,” Tuan added.

Gia Lai boasts a diverse tourism ecosystem that harmoniously combines forests and seas, culture and history. “Gia Lai’s tourism development takes culture as its foundation, nature as its advantage, and people as its center. We will develop tourism by preserving and enhancing the values of nature, people, and the local culture. On our path toward sustainable development, culture is preserved, nature is respected, and people are at the heart of all values,” Chairman Tuan said.

Gia Lai is bringing together the cultural, historical, and revolutionary heritage of Binh Dinh and the Central Highlands and, in its expanded development space, is shaping a “green forest–blue sea” tourism model that connects key destinations and creates strong growth momentum.
