[VOVWORLD] - With a strong desire to prosper, engineer Vi Hoang Son of Hiep Luc commune, Thai Nguyen province, has built a sustainable livelihood through his knowledge and hard work. Son and other local people transformed once-abandoned hillsides into integrated farming models, helping to green the countryside.

[VOVWORLD] - Village chief Ly Xa Pu of the La Hu ethnic minority in Lai Chau province regularly visits local households to encourage people to abandon outdated customs, improve their livelihoods, protect the forests, and guard the national border. Pu, who has been a Party member for more than 35 years, is a highly respected elder whose dedication and good example have earned the trust and admiration of the La Hu people.

[VOVWORLD] - Dr. Nguyen Phan Kien, Vice Director of the Institute of Health Science and Technology at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, is among the pioneers who helped establish biomedical engineering in Vietnam. The 50-year-old scientist has developed more than 40 commercial inventions including 10 products that provided valuable support during the fight against COVID-19.

[VOVWORLD] - In Dong Ngac ward, Hanoi, there is a special sewing workshop for people with disabilities. Every day, workers create colorful flags under the guidance of Pham Quang Khoi, who has spent two decades teaching vocational skills to, and creating jobs for, disadvantaged people.

[VOVWORLD] - Over the past decade serving with the Border Guard Command of Cao Bang Province, Major Nguyen Vu Le, born in 1990 in Hanoi, has worked closely with local people to combat poverty and promote socio-economic development. To him, the border region has become a second homeland, while ethnic minority communities are like family and a constant source of inspiration in fulfilling every mission entrusted to him.

[VOVWORLD] - Born visually impaired, teacher Vo Cam Giang of Quang Ngai province came up with the idea of launching a podcast channel called “Raising Your Voice” to connect people with similar disabilities and help the wider community hear their stories, spreading positivity and inspiration.

[VOVWORLD] - Artisan Nguyen Tan Phat of Duong Lam, a famous ancient village in Hanoi incorporates Vietnamese folk culture into his lacquer works. His skilled hands have brought lacquer art from its familiar traditional framework into a more contemporary mode.

[VOVWORLD] - At the age of 70, Labor Hero Ho Quang Cua still works in the rice-shrimp fields of the Mekong Delta. He is the creator of the ST25 rice variety, which has won the title of the world’s best rice multiple times.

[VOVWORLD] - High-yield, short-term rice varieties dominate modern agriculture, but farmer Le Quoc Viet, commonly called as Tu Viet, of An Giang province has taken a different path - returning to traditional seasonal rice varieties once highly valued but now largely forgotten.

(VOVWORLD) - Traditional costumes have emerged as a meaningful way to bring Vietnamese cultural heritage closer to the public. Driven by passion and pride, many young designers are launching their careers by celebrating and promoting traditional costumes. Among the standout restoration projects is Van Thien Y, led by a young designer named Nguyen Thi Nga and her 20-member team, who have been working to share the beauty of traditional costumes with the public here and abroad.
