(VOVWORLD) - An online job fair was connecting 128 businesses and vocational training institutions and job seekers in eight northern provinces and cities. Held on Monday the event offered 96,000 well-paid jobs in multiple fields.

The fair helped businesses recruit workers from Hanoi and nearby provinces. Job seekers received information about vocational training and employment opportunities matching their qualifications and skills.
"I came here to look for logo designing and Photoshop-related jobs. I hope to find a job suited to my abilities that might provide training to upgrade my skills," said a job seeker.
"Our company doesn’t require that applicants come from a university. We prioritize experience. For example, general accounting positions require extensive experience in tax accounting and financial reporting. For sales and marketing positions, the company is willing to train you," representative of a company said.

At the online job fair, businesses advertised job vacancies, including department heads and deputy heads, technical staff, production workers, mechanics, assembly workers, business and marketing staff, security guards, garment workers, and technicians.
Job opportunities primarily targeted workers between 18 and 25, who made up 42.5% of the total recruitment demand. Demand for candidates with a college or university degree accounted for 20.7% of vacancies. Demand for workers with vocational or technical training made up 8.3%, and for unskilled labor 71%.
Vu Quang Thanh, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Employment Service Center, said: "We will continue to share and link databases and provide information on the labor market, both supply and demand, to businesses and workers. Online job fairs will continue to help businesses recruit workers and help workers find suitable jobs.”
