The diplomat said Vietnam is willing to contribute its efforts to help Japan overcome the aftermaths of the twin disaster and the nuclear incident. He suggested promoting cooperation in agriculture and human resources which allows Vietnamese laborers to work in Japan’s northeast prefectures. During his stay in Japan, Hung had some exchanges with the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association in Fukushima and Ibaraki and Vietnamese students in Sendai and Miyagi. Japanese officials said that mutual understanding and friendship between the governments and peoples of the two countries would take Vietnamese – Japanese relations to a whole new level.
