Syria’s President Bashar Al Assad spoke on TV on Sunday to suggest a 3-stage plan to end the current conflict. The 3 stages are: a ceasefire, a national dialog, and the building of a broader government and national assembly. The government will soon announce details of the plan, and is asking other countries to stop supplying arms to the opposition. The President said the government will convene a national dialog conference including opposition leaders inside and outside of Syria. A new parliamentary election will be held, followed by the formation of a new government. According to a Jordani government spokesperson, 9 thousand Syrians have fled to Jordan, most of them women and children from southern province, Syria.
