The fire came six hours before the US presidential election in the Dixville Notch hamlet in New Hampshire state.

The South Korean military is analyzing in detail the flight trajectory and type of missile used, while increasing surveillance, vigilance, and combat readiness in close coordination with the US and Japan.

Five days earlier, the North test-fired a solid-fuel intercontinental ballistic missile, the Hwasong-19, which is probably capable of reaching the US mainland, and is Pyongyang’s reaction to the trilateral drill on Sunday involving South Korea, the US, and Japan and a long-range B-1B bomber.

On Tuesday morning, the Korean Central News Agency quoted Kim Yo Jong, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s powerful sister, as saying that the military exercises by the US, South Korea, and Japan strengthened North Korea reason for consolidating its nuclear power.
