Blood donation festival attracts Hanoi's youths
The 3rd festival “Volunteer heart” took place in Hanoi on Sunday, attracting more than 10,000 individuals and organizations to join in blood donation and other social activities. Chu Nhat Hop, Vice President of Hanoi’s Youth Association for Blood Donation expressed high expectations for the event. “In addition to blood donation activities, we also encourage young people take part in other social activities including environmental protection, saying no to smoking and HIV/AIDS prevention. We hope to collect more than 2000 blood units to get ready possible incidents during the upcoming Christmas and traditional lunar New Year,” he said.
