(VOVworld) - A Cambodian military helicopter crashed Monday on the outskirts of Phnom Penh, killing 5 soldiers and injuring 1. The plane crashed in a ditch and exploded in Dagkor district, 12km south of Phnom Penh while carrying soldiers during a training session. General Uk Ponnaha, head of the military helicopter unit, was among those deceased. The helicopter is 1 of the 12 Z-9 choppers Cambodia bought from China in 2009. The cause is under investigation.
