Cherry blossom festival opens in Da Lat
(VOVWORLD) -The Cherry Blossom Festival–Spring 2026 opened Friday evening at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat city, kicking off a series of cultural and tourism activities to welcome the Lunar New Year.

Themed “Da Lat Cherry Blossoms–A Gathering of Spring Colors,” the festival cherishes the beauty of Da Lat's symbolic flower and the elegance and hospitality of locals.
In her opening speech, Tran Thi Vu Loan, Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Xuan Huong ward said, “Through the festival program and activities, we aim to enhance the image and brand of Lam Dong tourism and its sustainable development as a safe, friendly, and impressive destination."
"We also aim to spread the message of shared community responsibility in creating more green spaces and beautiful flower gardens, and to join Lam Dong province in achieving its goal of welcoming 25 million tourists in 2026,” Loan added.

The festival runs until early February, featuring creative art spaces on Tran Hung Dao street, photography and painting activities, street performances, and showcases of typical agricultural products and souvenirs of Da Lat.
