The prefabricated building, locating on the outskirts of the city, is similar to the Xiaotangshan hospital built in Beijing in 2003, when it battled Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). At the time, Beijing built the Xiaotangshan hospital in just a week. Within two months, it treated 700 SARS victims, accounting for 14% of all the country's SARS patients.

Eleven cities of Hubei province, China, suspended all public transportation. Hubei province declared the highest level of public healthcare emergency.

By 4pm Friday, there are 26 deaths in 868 cases in 29 out of 34 provinces and cities of China infected with Corona virus. 180 are in critical condition. 12 cases are recorded outside Chinese border, including Vietnam.

The Corona virus was first found last December in Wuhan city.
