Cultural activities honor Tet traditions
(VOVWORLD) - Cultural activities are being held nationwide to ring in the Lunar New Year of the Horse (Tet), honor traditional values, and promote tourism.

A Spring Flower Street has been opened at Hung Vuong Square and along Ly Thuong Kiet Street in Dong Thap province, welcoming visitors for nine days during the Lunar New Year holiday, from February 13 to February 21. Alongside floral displays, the event features lion and dragon dances, folk singing and chants, folk games, and community dances.

Meanwhile, in Gia Lai, the An Nhon Dong Ward People’s Committee organized the First Yellow Apricot Blossom Festival 2026 on Friday. The festival showcases 150 yellow apricot blossom artworks with unique and eye-catching forms, while artisans demonstrate their skills in shaping ornamental trees.
Visitors can also join in local cultural and sporting activities such as Bai Choi folk singing, Hat Boi (classical opera) performances, human chess, and cooking and wrapping Banh Tet (log-shaped sticky rice cake) competitions.
