The Border Guard Spring program was held at two locations: Sa Loong commune and Ly Son island. Activities included the square sticky rice cake festival, zero-dong stalls, Tet gift-giving, free medical check-ups and medicine distribution for disadvantaged people. Students in difficult circumstances are supported as border guards’ adopted children.

Lieutenant Colonel Cao Tan Vuong, Deputy Head of the Political Department of the Quang Ngai Border Guard Command, said, “This year’s program features entertainment activities and gift giving tailored to each locality and to the living conditions of ethnic communities across Quang Ngai province. In particular, naval detachments and the training battalions have mobilized support from agencies, businesses, and benefactors to work alongside the Border Guards in this humanitarian program.”
