(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Science and Technology will work with Da Nang to establish a leading innovation center in Vietnam, said Minister Nguyen Manh Hung.

During a working session on Monday with Da Nang city authorities to evaluate the implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution 57 on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, Minister Hung said Da Nang must continue to prioritize digital transformation, develop science and technology, and increase its budget to support innovative firms.
"We see the pioneering, aggressive spirit of Da Nang’s leaders. This spirit draws the Ministry of Science and Technology and businesses here to help Da Nang create success. From here, it can spread nationwide, creating a breakthrough for the country."

Leaders of the Da Nang People's Committee said they have identified science, technology, digital transformation, and data infrastructure as the keys to transforming Da Nang into a hub of innovation, finance, and digital transformation in Southeast Asia.
Da Nang plans to establish a National Center for Supporting Innovative Startups to nurture startup communities and create innovation clusters that can drive regional economic growth.
