Palestinian medics said on Saturday 22 people including children were killed in airstrikes on houses in Gaza City. At least six other Palestinians were killed in Israeli strikes in Jabalia in the north and near the central town of Deir Al-Balah, medics said.
Two days earlier, the Gaza Health Ministry recorded more than 110 deaths. The conflict in Gaza has, so far, killed nearly 45,720 Palestinians, many areas there were flattened, and most people had to leave their homes.
There have been no positive signs from ongoing talks in Qatar and Egypt on a hostage and ceasefire deal in Gaza, as Israel and Hamas have put forward fundamentally different demands and accused each other of obstructing the ceasefire.
