Deputy FMs of Vietnam and Uzbekistan hold phone talks on bilateral ties
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thi Thu Hang affirmed Vietnam’s high regard for its relations with Uzbekistan and wished to enhance multi-faceted cooperation with traditional friendly countries, including Uzbekistan.

In a phone call with Uzbekistan Deputy Foreign Minister Ilkhom Khaydarov on Tuesday, Hang said Vietnam is willing to act as a bridge to promote relations between Uzbekistan and ASEAN.
Khaydarov expressed his wish that Vietnam will share with Uzbekistan experiences in economic development. Uzbekistan is ready to promote Vietnam’s relations with Central Asian countries, he affirmed.
The two diplomats agreed that their countries should maintain contact and exchange at all levels and closely coordinate and support each other at multilateral forums and international organizations.
