Deputy PM Le Thanh Long attends “Vietnam National Day” at EXPO 2025 Osaka
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long on Tuesday visited the EXPO 2025 World Exhibition in Osaka, Japan, and attended the Vietnam-Japan flag-raising ceremony marking the “Vietnam National Day” event.

He emphasized that the Vietnam pavilion, themed “An Inclusive Society with People at the Center,” reflects Vietnam’s vision of comprehensive and harmonious development that takes into account all dimensions of progress.
Long said: “The theme seeks to share proud stories of a nation with a heroic history, a dynamic and globally integrated economy, a rich and diverse culture, hardworking and hospitable people, and a safe, orderly society that prioritizes the well-being of its citizens, ensuring no one is left behind. The Vietnam pavilion at EXPO 2025 blends tradition, the present, and the future, using modern display technology to spread the story of Vietnam and its people to international friends. It also highlights the potential and strengths of localities and enterprises, opening up opportunities for future cooperation and investment.”

Earlier, Deputy PM Long paid a courtesy call on Ms. Obuchi Yuko, Member of the House of Representatives and Chairwoman of the Japan-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Alliance. Both sides expressed confidence that the relationship between Vietnam and Japan, and the friendship between the peoples of the two countries will grow ever stronger and commensurable with their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity in Asia and the world.
