Deputy PM urges NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam to expand networks
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung proposed that NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam expand its network of representative offices to other innovation hubs like Da Nang, Hai Phong, and Can Tho cities.

Receiving members of the NAB Technology & Enterprise Operations division onThursday, Mr. Dung commended the Centre’s contributions to developing high-quality technology human resources and support of Vietnam’s innovation and digital transformation ecosystem.
He encouraged the Centre to promote start-up incubation activities, technology transfers, and cooperation with universities, research institutes, companies, and other innovation centres. NAB (National Australia Bank), he said, should explore opportunities to participate in the development of Vietnam’s international financial centre in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang City.
The NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam representatives proposed ways NAB could participate more actively in technology development and innovation forums organized by the Government of Vietnam.
National Australia Bank is one of Australia’s largest banks, with a 170-year history, 40,000 employees, and 10 million customers worldwide. The NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam aims to build a high-quality information technology workforce. Since it was established in 2020, the Center has set up two offices and hired 2,400 staff members.
