(VOVworld) – The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Publics Administration on Monday held its 2012-2013 school-year-end ceremony in Da Nang city, and mapped out tasks for the next school year. At the event, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan acknowledged the academy’s achievements, especially in advanced training, scientific research, international cooperative relations, and upgrading the infrastructure for teaching. Nhan stressed the academy’s task of training officials in order to serve national development: “Our mission is to train the leaders of the Party, State, organizations, and state-owned enterprises. Our work should be based on Marxist-Lenist perceptions, the guidelines of the Party, and the present reality of the country, while doing research and training. We should renew the academy’s management, speed up scientific research, and improve the quality of lecturers and managers so that the academy will become an excellent tertiary training institute”.
