Under the plan, starting in October 2026, El Al will begin operating a long-haul nonstop service to Hanoi, Vietnam.
This will be followed in March 2027 by a new route to Seoul, South Korea, and later to Manila, Philippines, with the launch date to be announced. Each destination is expected to be served with three round-trip flights per week.
With this move, El Al becomes the second Israeli airline to announce direct flights to Vietnam in 2026, following Akira, which officially launched its nonstop Tel Aviv–Hanoi service in early January this year.
The development underscores Vietnam’s growing appeal to international airlines amid rising demand for tourism and trade.
