Election communication strengthened to ensure accuracy, unity, effectiveness
(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Hai has emphasized the need to strengthen communication efforts in a coordinated, timely, accurate, consistent, comprehensive and engaging manner as the National Assembly and People’s Council elections are drawing near.

Speaking at a meeting of the Sub-Committee on Information and Communication on Tuesday, Mr. Hai said over the past days, election communication campaigns have been carried out promptly and in line with guidelines, ensuring accuracy, consistency and effectiveness.
The election information portal has operated smoothly, publishing guidance materials in a timely manner and regularly updating local election activities, he noted.

Mr. Hai said: "We need to intensify communication highlighting the significance and importance of the elections; voters’ rights and obligations; qualifications, structure and number of elected representatives; and the biographies and action programs of candidates in accordance with the law. Communication should vividly reflect the nationwide atmosphere of enthusiasm and confidence ahead of Election Day. It is necessary to promptly identify and address misinformation or distortions, and ensure smooth, timely information-sharing mechanisms."
