Vietnam’s Duong Quoc Hoang wins Premier League Pool 2026
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam's number one billiards player, Duong Quoc Hoang, won the Premier League Pool 2026 championship after defeating Francisco Sanchez Ruiz of Spain 7-4 in the finals in Miami, the United States, on Monday.
16 top players in the world competed in a round-robin format in Stage 1 and Stage 2 saw the remaining 10 players compete in another round-robin phase, where only the top four moved on to the play-offs.
The Premier League Pool 2026 championship took place from last Thursday to Monday.
By winning the championship, Duong Quoc Hoang earned a 25,000 USD prize. He is also the first Vietnamese and Asian player to win this prestigious tournament.
