Ethnic people have high expectations for 14th National Party Congress
(VOVWORLD) - With the 14th National Party Congress about to begin, authorities and citizens in the northern mountainous province of Son La have expressed confidence in the leadership of the Party and the State and their goals for national growth in the new period.

They expect that the new Congress will set out appropriate long-term strategic guidelines and solutions that will promote economic growth and sustainable poverty reduction in ethnic minority areas.
“We hope for practical measures that will support commodity-based agricultural production, and mechanisms and policies tailored to border areas and the development of the cross-border economy,” said a local resident.
Another local said, “We hope the Congress will select dedicated, competent, and visionary leaders with strong resolve and intellect to guide Vietnam into a new era of national rise. In particular, we expect a continued focus on improving the lives of people in remote, isolated, and disadvantaged areas.”
